Inspired by the life of our co-founder, who experienced the devastating loss of her family, this piece represents a choice that would ultimately change her life. Faced with unimaginable grief and a dangerous path that could have cost her everything, she made a decision: instead of allowing tragedy to define her future, she would honor those she lost by becoming the best version of herself and the reflection of who they were.

That decision changed the course of her life.

Being half Honduran and raised in Las Vegas, surrounded by Mexican culture, she developed a deep appreciation for the traditions of honoring loved ones who have passed. This cultural influence inspired the artwork's symbolism of remembrance, featuring skulls, roses, and elements reminiscent of Día de los Muertos.

What makes this piece even more meaningful is that it was designed by our other co-founder, her husband. Knowing her story, the pain she endured, and the strength it took to rebuild her life, he brought her experiences to life through his artwork. Every detail was thoughtfully created to honor not only the family she lost, but also the woman she became.
